The  Bay of Islands Group of Five was formed early in 2002 to support each others artistic endeavours and to exhibit our original paintings. We have developed a strong artistic presence in our community and further afield. Both as individuals and collectively, we have exhibited at many events and venues, we organized several very successful annual shows and have also donated artwork (or a percentage of sales) to several charities. Our paintings have found homes all across Canada, the United States and Europe.

We simplified our name to The Group of Five in 2006.
